Little League All Stars

A Little League All Star game took place July 3, 2008 between the North Arlington Little League All Stars and the Borough of Rutherford's Little League All Stars at Rutherford's Little League field. Great job to a great group of kids from North Arlington and Rutherford. Also Special thanks to the organizers, parents and coaches to both towns for making this hoilday event a success! |

all public areas of the library.

The
Queen of Peace Knights of Columbus
is asking volunteers to donate
professional suits and business
casual wear to the Veterans
at the Domiciliary at Lyons
hospital. The “Dom”
is a place for homeless veterans
to get back on their feet and
into the job market. Clothing
should be in good shape. The
Q.P. Knights have set up an
outside collection bin at the
main entrance of their Council
Hall located at 194 River Rd.,
North Arlington. For more information,

Knights
of Columbus
The
Knights of Columbus in North
Arlington has obtained National
Child ID Kits, and in cooperation
with the North Arlington Police
Department, have distributed
the kits to the principals in
all North Arlington Schools.
These kits provide vital information
on a child that can be given
to police, prosecutors, FBI,
Sheriff’s Offices and
other law enforcement personnel
in the event a child is kidnapped
or is missing. Residents can
also pick up a kit at the North
Arlington Public Library, or
by contacting Grand Knight Robert
Tarantula, 201 991-9606. There
is no charge for the kit. |
